Our adoptive caseworker wrote a home study full of lies that she had not even attempted to verify. These are serious and include things that are easy to check on if she had wanted to like "convicted of possesion of controlled substance", and "fired from every nursing home in the city for stealing medication".
This is so irresponsible and harmful to us and the child they took from us that we should be able to sue her. This is unreasonable unprofessional and totally reckless. I came across a Federal case where the caseworker was sue because the families rights were recklessly denied. Then she pretended that she got this information from several family members when the only one she spoke to was my sister who wanted to take the child from us. I don't really care about money, I just want the child back. Gloria
