Your Story

I find it very strange that you child has a diagnosis of Hydrocephalus and was given a "clean bill of health." As with the majority of the people who cry out against the "abuses of CPS," I don't think you are giving a full account of what has happened...lets all be a little more honest. I have been in child protection for over 10 years. And before you jump to conclusions and damn me to the pits of hell for "stealing kids," let me set the record straight:
1) It is NOT illegal to spank...despite the BS in the media...and no, I have NEVER removed a child because of a spanking.
2) CPS DOES NOT have quotas to fill...another false assumption made popular by people who are ill informed and looking for a scapegoat.
3) The "lies" that are perpetrated on these poor unsuspecting parents, like yourself, are generally found to be true...IF everyone is honest and forthcoming with ALL of the information.
4) I have NEVER seen a child hospitalized so that an evaluation could be completed for Ritalin...I know this because one of my children is on Ritalin.

I can't understand why a doctor would lie to get your child evaluated. I find it equally hard to believe that you child's "imaginary friend" was labeled as "early schizophrenia," a term I have never heard...and my degree is in psychology. You either have it or you don't. Schizophrenia does not come and go. Finally, I count you using 3 different doctors for you basis of knowledge. Do you move a lot, or just move doctors a lot? I think you need to be more honest with every one about this situation. IF this is absolutely the truth, then report your current doctor to the AMA, it’s on the net, and report your caseworker to his/her supervisor or Ombudsman's office.
