This is in response to each of you affected by Illinois DCFS investigations and wrongful accusations made against you. First of all, please go to Google and type in Falk v Martel. In addition, you can find our case in any law library in the nation (in the Illinois section). It has set precedent law, and shows that investigators are not granted statutory immunity. I had to go pro se (representing myself) to the Illinois Appellate Court, to prove my point. Martel was subsequently not found innocent at the jury trial I conducted myself.
My children, now grown, and I were a close-knit family unit up to that time. However, public embarassment; other certain family members' shame, rudeness, isolation, and emotional abuse directed to my daughter and me continues.
Once DCFS enters your situation, they may not leave you alone until your children reach 18 years of age.
