California ADULT juvenile courts system:
Please help save families
We need to change the Welfare and Institution Code and rules of the Superior court. We want to make sure that parents get a right to a fair trial in the ADULT juvenile courts and that parents get treated with fairness. (C) 2006
1. WE HAVE CLOSE COURTROOMS- WITH NO PUBLIC ALLOWED IN THE ADULT JUVENILE COURTROOMS. IT IS ABOUT TIME, WE ALLOWED THE PUBLIC TO VIEW THE INJUSTICE OF THE ADULT JUVENILE COURTS PROCEDURES, WITH PARENTS CONSENT.
2. WE DO NOT NEED ONE BENCH JUDGE- TO THE MAKE FINAL DECISIONS WHERE OUR CHILDREN SHOULD BE PLACED. WE NEED 6 TO 12 PEERS IN THE ADULT JUVENILE COURTS.
3. HEARSAY- SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED WITHOUT PROVEN FACTS OF THE CASE.
4. OLD NAME REUNIFICATION PLAN NOW (MEDIATION) - SAME WORD BUT NO DUE PROCESS.
5. DOUBLE JEOPARDY- NO PERSON SHOULD BE CONVICTED IN THE ADULT JUVENILE COURTS, IF NOT FOUND GUILTY IN THE CRIMINAL COURT OF CHILD ABUSE.
THERE IS CHILD ABUSE IN THIS COUNTRY, BUT THE BALANCE OF JUSTICE MUST BE PROVEN. WITHOUT CHANGES AND NO DUE PROCESS IN THE ADULT JUVENILE COURTS, MORE CHILDREN WILL BE VICTIMS OF THE SYSTEM.
