I said what I thought about it and still, I don't see how this kind of comment mattered. As far as quick reaction to it- you betcha! Hoever, I wouldn't even say I was angry. If my son were to say this to me, he would have gotten a similar (more age-oriented, less degrading) reaction, but in your black and white world, you refuse to see that there is a lot of grounds between ignoring behavior and beating the life out of someone.
You may also say what you like about Cheryl and myself. Her and I both know what we went through with CPS and we would both agree that we were wronged and so were our children, especially her son! If you got your child back from the state with brain damage caused from abuse in care, you would have the same drive and determination. We're not out here for a popularity contest or a sympathy vote. What drives me is that my children's and my life suffered. Our love suffered. Love is the strongest and most sacred bond. I now have a son who has lived outside of my home and received substantial abuse and CPS interventions and even his father being arrested for assault - All just swept under the rug while I keep being ignored in trying to help him. I also have a daughter (sold by CPS) that just found out that her REAL mother is someone she thought was her cousin for the 8 years of her life. She was adopted by my aunt. That girl's life has just turned upside down- her "mom" is her great aunt, her "aunt" is her grandmother, she has a brother she's never seen and the list goes on.
These are just some results of CPS's tyranny. These, and the countless stories of others drive this force... be it this website, CPSWatch or any other site. You coming along doesn't make a dent in our world - we've heard it a million times from countless other "yous". If you cross the line and accuse us as we have been in the past, you can expect a quick response and perhaps one that is not so warm. We are out here to be heard and we are being heard. Even by ignorant people such as yourself. Thankfully, you are in the minority. Please, don't say such things and not expect a reaction.
