the refereeing was absolutely the worst ...bad calls ..non-calls letting BR whine to them on every call .....Davidson should have been tossed out of the game by the second period, the game was totally out of the ref's hands....Somes is a joke ....what ref calls 5 penalties in a 5 min overtime period

Well at least for the first 40 minutes of the game, after that it was the Somes show. Brutal calling one way during the last 25 minutes of the game (3rd period and OT). He calls a CFB on Mooretown at one end of the rink and then ignores the same thing when a BR player did it at the other end of the rink. Tsk tsk!

BTW, to the screaming man from BR who thought the Flags had too many men - someone needs to explain how PP is suposed to be run during OT. The Flags had a two man advantage so that meant Mooretown was to have 5 skaters to 3 for BR, a team cannot play with fewer than 3 skaters during OT. When the first penalty expired it would then be 5 on 4 until the next whistle when it should then have been 4 on 3. Didn't happen that way and the Flags played even for a bit when they should have still been on the PP.
