Why didnt touma play. thought he was their # 1.

No idea why Touma didn't play.......Shallow has played well lately but Touma should have been in net. Just another example of the coaching problem.

The most embarrassing thing was Essex fans throwing brooms onto the ice at the end of the game...the players on the other hand handled the game with class.

all year long we have been saying that the fans are the a**es and this only proves the point, I don't think ANYONE remotely thought that a first place unbeaten in regulation play team was going to lose a game to a team that only won 9 games all year. People get a grip and show some class for a change! if thats possible

you may think people throwing them wasnt very classy.. but how about the players picking them up and throwing them back with all the little kids around..how classy was that..luckily they didnt hit any of them in the head or something eh.

I'll agree. Throwing brooms on the ice is pretty disrespectful and childish. It's completely unnecessary in a 1st vs 8th matchup. Everyone knew it was gonna be a sweep. No need to rub it in.

Crows I agree with you there.....emotions run high in players and fans during playoffs but the brooms shouldn't have been thrown on or off the ice......
