i sit hear and read these posts and wonder if any of you really watched the series .. saying that Mooretown outplayed Wallaceburg just shows whos fan you are.....it was a pretty even series and I think it would have been a whole lot different if both goalies had played with the same amount of determination and dedication ...... Mooretown didnt just walk away with anything and for the most part they owe it to their goalie

I don't think Mooretown walked away with the series, but I do think they out played the Lakers for the most part. Watching the games, it just seemed like they not only had their hearts in the game more, but just seemed like they wanted to win more than the Lakers did all together. They played 60 minutes of hockey for 6 games, to me the Lakers didn't.
Lakers had tons of talent this year and I definitly think they should have made it to the final, but when you are only playing 2 lines, fat chance making it to the finals. BJ/Davis should have utilized every player to keep their legs fresh and maybe they would have put more effort into the games instead of dragging their a$$es because they were tired. Might have been a different outcome then.
I guess being in the stands it just looked like the Lakers stopped caring.

You would be dragging your a$$ to if you were one of the 2 lines that were played every game. How can you say they didn't care. I don't believe that for one minute.
Just my opinion........from the stands.

How did you expect to beat the Flags scoring 1 goal in each of the last 2 games NOT LIKELY Mooretown out hustled out skated and out played the Lakers you can't just blame one person you can't blame anyone.Win as a team loose as a team.Valuable lesson taught the first time you put skates on.Don't blame your goaltender.
