Why all of a sudden does essex lose. Seems like a give away. Nothing against you Belle River. Do it again.

Essex lost because they played a bad game with stupid mistakes
and belle river played hard last night.. we had to loose one eventually might as well get it out of the way now

Essex lost because of the following reasons...

They did not capitalize when they had chances to go up by 2 or 3 goals

They took undisciplined penalties that cost them

Goaltender was average at best

Belle River wanted to win more than Essex did.

Pretty simple!!

the biggest thing that BR did was that they were able to stay out of the box...essex is a very beatable team if you can play the majority of the game 5 on 5. However if you get into any kind of penalty trouble they will bury you. That is where they get you and they are very good normally at capitalizing on their chances. So if BR can stay out of the box they will have a good shot at winning this series.

If Essex 5 on 5 was "very beatable" they probably would have lost a few games during the regular season. I'm by no means handing them the series but to say their very beatable is crazy. Kingsville is very beatable. Alvinston is very beatable. I'm not saying Essex is "unbeatable" but they definitely aren't "very beatable."

This is why they make the teams play a 7 game series and not one game, the best team will win a 7 game series 9 times out of ten. We'll see who the best team is when the 7 game series is over, not a single game. Stay tuned........
