That 5 year period includes this year so they've only taken home 3 finalist trophies because this year hasn't started yet. If we go back to 2002 they've won 2 championships. Essex has 2, Grimsby has 2, Penetang has 2 and Alliston 1. So chirp all you want but the fact is that Essex is just as good as anyone else in the last decade and 3 finalists vaults them to the top of the field. There's no shame in losing the teams that were as good as Penetang and Alliston were in the last 3 years. Here's hoping to see another incredible series between Essex and Alliston.
