What's happening with the Flyers next season? Site says they're looking for a new GM and assistant coaches. What happened to Anthony? Any rumours about any Shark players (or anyone else for that matter)making the move?

Anthony resigned shortly after the season ended. My guess would be because the board dictates every move made by the GM and coaches (same reason Davis left).
There should be room for wheatly players to move up to the Flyers because some of the current players want out. According to Scott Holland on the Web site, the players at the rookie camp looked so good that a team could of been assembled from the camp that would outclass the 08/09 Flyers. (You wounder why the current players would want out)

I can't give names but there is at least 5 or 6 that want to go play for Belle River. Also there are about 5 Lasalle players that want to join them in Belle River.

Interesting. Any info. about possible replacement coaches? Is this possible mass exodus a reaction to last year's staff? If so, seems a bit premature. Why would you leave a Junior B team that's getting in a new crew of coaches, to go play for a Junior C team? Re. LaSalle - interesting that so many are thinking of leaving to play for Belle River. What happened there? What's the big attraction in Belle River? Coach Jimi St. John should make the move to Leamington. He could turn them around, just as he did for Wheatley. Last year's predictions that Anthony wouldn't be good for Leamington were spot on.

Steve Price is still the head coach. Super nice guy but not a head coach at that level. If StJohn went there he would find out the same thing that Mark Davis and Pete Anthony as well as Butch Ott found out. You have no control over the team, the board dictates everything including player personel.
