additions to league???

After mt brydges beat mooretown 4-1 the other nigth and I saw they beat kincardine 4-3 and 6-1 and exeter beat goderich 7-1 and wakerton 6-3, lambeth lost 4-3 to kincardine, Mitchell joined the western c league last year and did very well...were the only team to beat walkerton twice and they were middle of the pack in jr d, would some of these teams be good additions to our league and give essex a good run for their money, they are definately stronger than alvingston and draw alot of kids from london, western and fanshawe...what do you guys thing should we add them to the league?

D'you really think that those C teams really sent out their regular/starting players? Mooretown played with 3 vets on the 4-1 loss against Brydges' line up of 2nd or 3rd line former Jr. C players. Why are they there? In the event you could send complaints about tampering to the OHA, Brydges would be in a world of extreme finger wagging and wrist slapping. I think Brydges will be very competitive for their league, but come on - to be competitive against Essex? Humbug I say!

I was just throwing it out there, the only jr d team I have saw play was thamesford and they were very good and big, could easily compete with top c teams, but they have been a powerhouse for years, also it said kincardine dressed there full team in there loss...im surprised that mooretown has that many players left in camp that only 3 vets dressed...i wonder how many brydges had in there lineup....to me i think its just an area there are no c teams close to london (which is a huge drawing area including lots of western and fanshawe guys that dont want to commit to jr b) and its just a different name of league but roughly the same calibre and they would rather play there than alvy. i remember going to a windsor lancers game a couple of years ago and seeing a jr d player on there roster and he looked pretty good out there....im not that familiar with the d league but i remember talk of them joining our league...to me the more competition the better

also North Middlesex Stars, last yrs OHA JrD Champs beat New Hamburg Jr C 4-2 last Sat night..both teams only missing 2 vets...I think its time for all you C teams to realize that in some areas of the Jr D league, there is no C teams (North Midd,Mt Brydges,Thamesford, etc)and the caliber is the same as most Jr C teams..and most of these teams have Jr B affiliations.....yes there is the exceptions like Essex/Belle River/Norwich/Alliston/Kincardine..but those teams spend as much money as Jr B teams...Time for most of you Jr C guys to get off your high horses, amalgamation is coming from the OHA..C and D together...

good point about the affliations as well...well said...i think its time to lose the D name and add these teams to the existing C leagues and get rid of some of the weaker organizations
