Well I have heard two different things one that he is just not playing this year and the other is that if Anthony does not come back Nick will stay but if Anthony does come back Nike said he would step down so that Anthony could play. But like I said they are only roumers but I know that they did not cut him.

i would hate to spread rumours, but i have heard from a few of the guys on essex that mariani was cut. it is a shame and shouldn't have been, but my opinion is neither here nor there. keeping hogan over mariani could be questionable to some, but again, who are any of us to argue with peroski? (as much as we all dislike him, his track record proves he's a good coach)
and my sources tell me that iaquinta will be playing with essex this season

Well which ever way it happened its a shame he won't be here this season.
And if Anthony doesn't make the University team he is coming back to the 3's so I don't know if he made it or not.

Mariani is now an Asst. Coach with the team and Iaquinta has been released from the Lancers and is playing with Essex. There was an agreement made with all parties long before the season started.
