was at the game for awhile, few things i noticed the arm railing is great but could use some padding, also does anuone know why we had the half hour delay?

The Game was good Essex had lots of chances to score but couldn't bury, BR hits way more then i have ever seen was a fairly entertaining game

BR was up 2-0 when i left after the 2nd period, if someone could post a final score

Essex scored with 10 seconds left in the 3rd to tie it 2-2 and lost in OT

Sounds like quite the 3rd period, Essex always has strong 3rd periods

Great game, even tho we lost. Got a point outta it. Came down to Bacon not passing the puck at one end, and the BR guy making the pass at the other. 3's played poor in the start. Both goalies played well.

awesome game even tho we lost, gona be a great battle all year between these too, over 1,000 fans at the new rink, great night

From what I've heard the delay was caused because both teams had white jerseys. OHA has changed the rule so home teams now where dark jersey's. Essex had it screwed up and their black jerseys are still at the sewers. BR had to go get their darks before the game could start.

Good win BR ,took advantage of an essex team that did not look like they were sharp, summerfeild played good, BR needs that type of goaltending.BR needs to cut down the odd man rushes giving up lots in two games.lots of time to fix that.Ringrose had a lot of good hits, i think we need more out of the fowards though.Look foward to the next game on friday,good luck boys.

It was a good game but Belle River was sloppy in the 3rd. Very nice arena but they need to cool it down inside, way to warm resulting in water sitting and not freezing. There was still water on the ice from the first intermission when the second period ended.

I fully agree the ice was just TERRIBLE......don't know what the problem was ..but it isn't acceptable so called state of the art arena...with slush to skate on !
If they think they're gonna have ice through-out the summer in this facility they better start kickin some asses to fix the compressors !!
Who dropped the ball on this one boys ??

I also think the roof is a little low could have been higher i think that scoreboard might take a beating over the years

awesome arena, but gotta fix the ice problem, cant beat the ice in the old barn

Give it some time. I'm sure the arena staff will figure it out eventually. The arena's only been open a couple of weeks.
