Essex got their butts kicked tonight.....brutal officiating led to undisciplined assinine penalties.
Overall the score pretty well tells the tale.
This ought to become a very competitive year...no cakewalks this year boys

WHAT AN AWFUL GAME TO WATCH.

Essex looked awful. Need to change something up. BR played good. But lets just say the refing was brutal. One of the worst ref games I've ever seen. Calls **** that makes no sense then misses the easy ones. But oh well. Coming from a 3's fan, they need some help on the back end. Hope things change soon or this could be the year things change up at the top of the standings.

3's looked terrible, however how can someone like Hutch be allowed to ref anyone ? WHAT A JOKE U R HUTCH u r a complete disgrace to the game of hockey, hope you feel proud of yourself

I don't think this game can be entirely based on Hutch there were some bad penalties and some that were missed, i think they need the 2 referee system when these teams play, Essex is a dirty team, if both teams could stick to hockey it would be very entertaining

Essex was very undiciplined in the game tonight. You can't blame it all on reffing. Guys like Iaquinta waving a white towel to show up Hutch and getting tossed. If you look at pointstreak the penalties were fairly close (within 5 minutes if you take off Gallant's 10 minute misconduct). I know that their not used to trailing in games but there was no composure on the Essex bench including Peroski.

Great game for BR the whole team was focused ,this years team so far is getting better goaltending and better play in thier own end of the ice,which is in turn providing lots of offence.It must be pointed out that so far this year Essex does not look the same ,defence seems to be the reason so far,but its early i am sure they will fix that.Keep up the good play boys.

unreal game for belle river. reffing was terrible, bad calls both ways. Br was even missing some of their top players tonight too to injuries.

about the only positive to come from this game is that the season is still early, im sure coach P will work on some stuff, and make a couple moves if neccessary,

The only movement that Coach P can make is a bowel movement. And even that is hard for him to do!!

just remember we are the defending ontario champs, never count us out, its only 4 games into the season

Ive never heard of a 5 minute holding major.

Five minute major for holding is a GM75 and gets you a game too.
