Thought all the boys did the work tonite. Pokey is starting to heat up. He probably played his best game of the year so far imo. The more I have got to watch the 3 newcomers the more I am sure we got the better end of that deal.
He has been playing a lot better since pulling himself off that hostage list. Less panic and white knuckles if you ask me. Don't worry Pokey, even the best push to hard when they feel pressure.
Both Pokey and Pro are playing like the talented vets they are.

They both had slow starts, but are starting to look as good as they did at the end of last season. You can tell things are "clicking" again.
Mitch Fadden seems to fit in with our system well. I really like what he has brought so far. He is very patient, a smart player and excellent at puck handling, especially in traffic.

Just think, the new guys really haven't had a lot of practice time in with the team since thier arrival. They have all week to get acclimated with thier linemates this week. They have played well but I'm thinking with a good solid week of practices under thier belts they will be even better as a team next week.
