There was some urgency to get this one. So I must confess to cheering like post season with the tying and winning goals. I thought we played a pretty good game, though 2 ppgs against in a row not like us. Our pk usually a little better. So it goes.

I think tri will need all of this stretch run to pull it fully together and up a notch. But thats time, its almost two months. They can do it, they have the parts. But it will take a lot of serious work and attitude by all. Its not just gonna happen.

They will have to work hard, but they may be hitting a rough patch at the right time. As someone said last week about the Giants, a little adversity can be a good thing. And the Ams just fought through some real adversity the last few weeks. Best of all, tonight it was the veterans who kept at it and made it happen.

Hopefully the extra playing time for the youngsters, and also having to play outside the comfort zone due to injuries, will give this team the confidence in each other that they will need.

Gonna be fun down the stretch.

They have battled the adversity and still assured themselves of a winning month. Lets not forget this team is 8-4 so far this month with 3 to go. Remember too they really miss Pokey, I think that has been a huge factor for this rough patch.

Plus Toll is coming back shortly. That deepens our D at the top. And then theres still lots to do, but time to do it in.

I thought that until the first AMS goal the team was looking like a bunch of hard working individuals. The effort was there big time but it looked like they were not communicating and each player was trying to carry the team on his back. After that first goal they started working better. At the end it was looking more like the team that we are use to seeing play here. That is my $.02...
