Tri City American Fans

Jason had the time of his life in Tri Cities and we are so happy he got to end his career with you fans. Bob is one of the greatest people I've ever met and if anyone of you really got to have the chance to get to know him its all about his boys. He loves the kids and is very proud of the City they play in. Don what a coach and he takes the time to talk to parents very rare thing in this world. Don loves the game and to teach it and he brings out the best in his players and he would do anything for them. Terry he is the guy you just have to love. He has the personality that you would have to meet to understand. He can make you laugh and he is a players coach. To all the other staff who handle the everyday running of the team they are wonderful they work very hard for you fans to get it right as best they can. Can't forget the trainer Mr aww just put some ice on it you'll be fine. But here's more than that the kids care about him because they know he will be there when they get banged up and are so far away from home. We started In Tri and finished there what a wonderful experince. You don't know how much the boys love to see the crowd there and how loud it gets in the old barn. You might not like everything about the barn but it's the tradition there that counts I can put up with something not right but that barn has alot of memories in it that can't be replaced. This team played it's guts out and when the vets fell to injury the young guns played their hearts out to keep them in it and knowing that they only get this one last chance. Pro's a dandy of a kid his parents raised that young man right. He will get his shot at pro hockey and make it and do very well. Fadden he has a gift and you will see him continue to get to use it soon. As for my son Jason made us all proud of him. His mom, sis, and Dad. You saw what he was made of last night along with the other 20's they played till the clock said zero zero zero and never gave up. You don't see that much heart in sports any more these days but they really wanted to bring home a cup. I can't be more prouder of my son. He started in Vancouver and has 3 banners hanging there and played in the Memorial Cup. And played half a season before being traded the next year on the team that won the Cup. Then we got to go to Moose Jaw and that was really a great place to play and it got his career going and allowed him to come into the player he is today. And then we get the news he is an American. That was a proud day. And he worked his butt off to put those three banners there for you fans. These kids all know what those banners meant to all the fans and whenever they walk in that old barn they are always going to remember the crowd that went wild the night they won the first one. I have no words to describe my son other than I'm the proudest Dad ever. He left home at 14 and he believed in the things that we as parents tried to teach and has know grown into a great young man. You will see him in the pros next year somewhere and he will succeed because he has the heart and the willingness to be great. One other thing I can't forget this was a team effort on our family's part to even get him here. His Mom worked two jobs to put him in the situation to even get the chance to play in front of you! She is the the real backbone of his career! She carried his whole future in pro hockey on her back doing her best to make sure he had everything he needed. His sister Stephanie gave up a few things in her life along the way to get him to this level and she was actually quite the hockey player too you would have loved to seen that girl play. But she also made alot of phone calls and trips to see her brother so that he never was without his little sis. We have had two great years in a row and now it's time for the Go johnny GO's to take over along with Kruise Reddick. Remember this from me it don't matter what the record of your team is and it don't matter whether they are always the greatest team but it does matter that you fans are there rooting them on with the bells and your hearts to. Always remember these players play as hard as they can. Even when sick and really banged up sometimes, and you as a fan don't get the privy of knowing what is really going on because to know that makes it dangerous for the player playing if you get what i mean. I'm proud of the City and wish it wasn't over but good things happen to kids that try hard and all the ones moving on will become great players at the next level. Thanks Bob for bringing my son home you also gave up a good one to get him but you believed in Jason that he would get you those two banners. Loved every minute of my time spent with the greatest fans, organization, and city to come visit. It's gonna be very hard knowing that we won't be back next year as an American again but we will be back to root on the boys when we can! Thanks everyone for allowing my son to be apart of the city and the team and for you rooting for him so hard to do so well!!!!!!

Your son was very special kid without him we would not have won the US Division this year. I have had a plesure of meeting Jason and all I got to say is he is a class act. I think Jason meant soo much to the Ams that if he would of been healthy we would of beaten Kelowna. It was just too bad he got injured with the high anckle sprain. We will miss Jason next year it will be wierd not seeing #9 on the ice next season. I wish him good luck in what ever he does next hopefully some NHL team calls him up he deserves a chance. Hopefully Jason is playing hockey somewhere next year but if he is not playing hockey he should come down for next years home opener soo he could see the 08-09 US Division Banner going up in the rafters since he was a big part of this years team. Thank you for lending your son to The Ams us fans enjoy having Jason on the team. We will miss Jason indeed. Good luck to Jason. Hope to see you at some Ams games next season.

I enjoyed watching your son and his team play hockey. Never a doubt in my mind how hurt the boys were and why they couldn't be out there. Good luck to Jason and the others not coming back to TC next year.

What a great post. I am on the other side, a Rocket fan that wished that he had seen Jason healthy during the series. Jason and his team played with courage that I have never seen before. Best of luck to him in the future. Can there be any doubt that he will do well in the times ahead, I don't think so. Thank you for lending him to the WHL.
