Watch the WHL Finals on KVEW-TV/My Network

Tri-City Americans fans, KAPP/KVEW TV is happy to announce that you will be able to see games one through six of the WHL Finals on our air.

Games one through five will be available on KAPP/KVEW's sister station, My Network TV, which is Charter channels 78 or 280 or 35.2 or 42.2 on your digital tuner.

Game six on Sunday May ninth will be seen on KVEW and My Network, and should there be a game seven, it will be on Fox Sports Northwest

I have to go to Las Vegas for work next week and won't be able to go to games 3 or 4. Never been so pissed about having to go to Vegas. My DVR and WHL TV will be my friend.

Thats cool they are broadcasting the games -

The only thing now to push for is an HD feed. I am fairly certain some of the rinks and partnering braodcasting teams have HD equipment in use - would be cool that if thats what Shaw has up in Calgary we could get that feed...

Just sayin....

Watched the Ams away game in Kelowna on TV last week, then afterwards turned on NHL playoffs (in HD) and it was like someone wiped a film off my TV....but I will say that the TV broadcast is way better than the WHL TV feed I get - happy about that.

So, is it only charter customers that get the games? I have Dish and have never been able to find any games that are being broadcast on tv, except for the ones on fox sports.

Go to Wal mart, buy $10 digital ant. plug into back of dish box. Go to menu select Option #6 (system setup) then option #9 option (local Channels) Search for local channels. Once found highlight channel 42.2 and you are in business!

Must have a HD box for this to work.

Can we do anything similar?

No matter the carrier, you should be able to do as described above -

Worst case scenario is unplug your box and plug in the antenna, then change your input type to Antenna and tune into 42.2

Nothing I can do for those in Spokane, you guys suck!
