| He should've gone because it is one of the biggest turning points in history, and one in which one of BO's fellow Americans - Ronald Reagan, was instrumental in making happen. He should've gone to represent the U.S. for this momentous occasion.
I was still in high school when the Berlin wall came down and I totally understood the significance of that moment. It's too bad BO can't even fathom what that meant. If you were too young at that time or not born yet, mere words can't explain the significance of everything that led up to the Berlin wall coming down, and then actually seeing it happen live on TV. The crowd's reaction and the reuniting of families from both sides of the wall was truly moving.
Instead of BO flying off to Denmark to try to win over the Olympic committee, he should've reserved time to be apart of this truly historic event. He's a dufus for not going.
