The three teams from the ETA at the OMHA'S will be the teams representing the ETA at the OHL Cup. One extra team may get a wild card.

How can Compuware be on this list and Honeybaked is not when Honeybaked is ahead of Compuware in their league standings and Compuware has 93's on their team while Honeybaked is all 94's?

you can't have Mission,Compuware and Honeybaked there. That would leave the Ontario teams fighting for 4th.

OMHA can't fairly compete

November 5 2009, 4:11 PM

The GTHL, Alliance, ODMHA and Northern US teams are able to concentrate top players onto a small number of teams. The OMHA does not allow this, so the top players are spread around the league.

To level the playing field the SCTA and ETA should concentrate their players onto 2 yeams each for this tourney only.

You're just figuring this out now? Man, the OMHA top teams cant compete with the G top teams for years at all levels. You may scrape a win every so often as all teams are beatable, but you have to catch them on a bad day to do so. Small town mentality cannot compete!!!

None of these top US teams will play in the OHL Cup so not sure why they are ranked. Teams with 93s cannot even play in the tournament.

Elgin hasnt advanced in any tournament yet, and if you look at their record they played many weak teams to pump their numbers early. See them falling out of top 10. Replaced by Ottawa 67's or YSE or Huron Perth.

How could you even consider YSE at this point. There results this year are well below there capabilities. Central are more qualified to get a nod.

for teams on the bubble, the team with the star the OHL wants to see will be selected. The Rebels should have gone to the OHL cup last year but the Jr Canadiens went so the scouts could watch Quine play.
