That is a horrible thing to say about the Guelph coach!
The team has many new players that moved from AA or A up.

You must know success. ongrats on naming the best teams in each league as having the worst coaches. That makes sense! Of course the best teams will have the worst coaches...isnt that the way it always is? hmmmmm

Guelph lost quite a few players from the last years team.

the players you lost were not there the year before and they did well...so thats no excuse

Marlies coach on the way out,Titans? YSE coachs face is gonna explode he has veins poppin out of his neck from screaming at kids all game.

Explain how being a screamer makes you a bad coach? Shouldn't it be based on success?

You must love little johnny's coach who rubs his feet after the game telling him how great he is dont you!... At the same time you must enjoy being a marginal team at best.

Learn something about the game before you put down these volunteers.

The best way to get results. Fear! Kids thrive on it.

I have never been more stunned to hear a coach yell like crazy at the kids like the Mississauga Senators coach.
Using the F word for the whole world to hear him, but yelling at his own kids.

Don't the parents have some concern? Whatever your position is you still have to act professional and this coach is for sure lacking that.

Have you heard bantam and minor midget aged kids talk? Trust me, no coach is going to say anything to them they haven't already heard.

You are right, I know that they boys are probably worst than the coach.
It was just surprising to hear him toss the F bomb so easily during a game. It does not look good on him, not that he will hurt the kids feeling (or he might in some cases)

It just does not look professional

You need to watch (and listen) to a coach at a Junior A game or an OHL game. Better yet, go to a NFL game, NBA game, etc...it is quite the norm with swearing and coaching. It's just the way it goes.

When I grew up, our coaches used to throw pucks at us............did we have respect for our coach, HELL YES!, and it did not matter who you were, the best on the team, or the worst, you got the same treatment.
RESPECT/FEAR built us adults to what we are now. Not the way the rules are now. It's in favour of the kids......they walk all over parents, teachers, seniors etc.... no respect in these kids, because they have no fear. Let them be afraid, they will learn discipline!
Nothing wrong with it, if you do have a problem with it, go figure skating, oops I forgot they swear there too!

Not intended that way. It is just a shock as it was the first time you heard it. Is it perhaps that I don't speak to my kids that way, or because I don't think it is the proper way of treating kids but every person is different.

Is my kid going to grow up better than yours, or yours better than mine. Who knows, I think it is a combination of all.

I know I have taught my kids respect and think I am doing the best job I can.

Are you a good coach or bad coach if scouts come to watch a game, the coach knows the scouts are there, but only tells his favourite players that they are there and keeps it a secret from the rest as do the players that were told??

Shouldn't the players always be playing like there are scouts at the game?

How's the screaming, yelling, swearing coach doing in Lampton? Has he cracked a smile yet that his team is a few points out last place in Alliance West.
