joe coached my son for two years, and let me tell you, if you need to be hostile toward a coach -- there are lots more worthy of hostility than Joe.

You can never rip a coach to their face. Even if your kid was the best player on the team, coach would play him alot less for his father's wrath.

Coach only looks out for his own AA son, and his shadow's twins ! Everyone knows that all these years !

He is an exceptionally well qualified coach who knows his stuff, He is a current Scout for the Oshawa Generals a storied organization who hire well qualified Hockey people. I worked there before Joe but have seen him in action both on and off the ice.

Anyone who doesn't like him that's YOUR choice but be a man and tell him to his face, He is approachable.

Played for Joe, and been around him at the rink. Good guy. Know's the game, and is one of the better guys in the GTHL.

Looking at the Reps/Charger organization, it was no surprise he got the job; He'll need to adjust from Midget to Junior, but he does deserve to be a Junior coach whether the move was premature or not.

Any criticism should be looked at Tony Clarke rather than Joe.

Joe has coached Junior before so he went down a level to coach in the GTHL. From Scouting for OHL teams to Coaching for many years including Tier 2 he'll be just fine. Now if that Association can clean up its reputation then things should be fine.
