Vegetable Soup for the Harried

1 pound ground round
6-8 cups water
1 t Basil leaves
1/2 t Black Pepper
2 t Chives
1 Handfull Chopped Green Bell Pepper, about 1/3 cup
1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes with roasted garlic and onions
1 11 can Green Giant White Shoepeg Nibblets Corn
1 14.5 ounce Green Giant Green beans
2 8 ounce cans Hunts tomato Sauce
2 T Parsley Flakes

Brown Ground Beef, drain, Stir in Water, Sauce Mix from Hamburger Helper,
Basil leaves and Black Pepper. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Reduce
heat to simmer and simmer 10 minutes.
Stir in Macaroni form Hamburger Helper, corn, green beans, green pepper,
tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cover and cook till macaroni is done (will be
swollen) about 15 minutes. Garnish with the Parsley Flakes. Enjoy!

note: the Green Beans need to be drained before adding them to the soup mixture
