I am hearing a weird 'click' in my 1998 5-speed CRV LX, which I just purchased last week. I don't know whether it's been there all along, or if it just started. When I depress the clutch a 'click' sounds at about 3 inches above the floor and again when it touches the floor. The noise is just like the 'click' that a floor switch high-beam makes, or similar to the sound that your turn signal makes. I have called every dealership service dept.here in town, and none of the mechanics have a clue. The clutch itself is not acting up, but since I am a new owner I am concerned.I hesitate to take it in and leave it for 3 days for nothing(except a bill!), but I also don't want to ignore a potential problem. One mechanic said it might be the clutch "spring", whatever that means.Personally, I think that was just something he made up because he didn't know. All the mechanics that I spoke to said that they haven't seen that many 5-speeds, and none of them had ever experienced a problem like this before. Needless to say, this does not give me great confidence in them. Anybody out there have an idea, or have had this happen to them?? Know any good place in Columbus, Ohio for repairs? Thanks for any response. Leslie
