These tips are for installation of spoilers from CrEverything or West Wings spoilers.
You will find 4 indentations, 2 per side on the upper inside of the hatch where the spoiler will be mounted. They are about 1/4 inch dents so you might have to look hard. There are also 2 plastic caps, 1 per side, by the indentations. Remove the caps and save to put back on after you drill the holes. You will drill a total of 7 holes, 4 on the left side and 3 on the right. The extra hole on the left is for the brake light wires.I drilled the holes where the indentations are first, temporarly installed the spoiler then used the supplied marking straps that came with the spoiler for drilling the holes where caps go. After drilling the holes, use touch up paint to prevent rust. Remove the factory 3rd brake light and make a small cut in the loom, under the hatch lid, and pull the brake wires through. Tape and seal the area where you cut the loom. I also put touch up paint on all the screws after installation.
I purchased mine already painted from CrEverything. Yes TBob, it helps keep the rear end on the ground during high speeds, he,he.
