and much improved over the original speakers. They are not a lot louder, but they are much clearer/cleaner sounding. To improve the sound more, there have been a multitude of ideas posted, most all of which require spending more $$$ on new head unit (if you have an LX or EX), aftermarket speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, etc., etc., etc. I couldn't afford to put all my eggs into the audio basket up front and chose to do some other upgrades along with my speaker upgrades.
