I used Crutchfield. The speakers were simple replacements (front and rear) for the OEM ones...but MUCH better quality. I have two CRVs the other has Sony Explodes. Both speakers are great. The headunit used a Crutchfield coversion kit. A whole bunch of people on the exchange have used this. Crutchfield supplies a harness to match the Honda harness. You have to solder about 12 leads...pretty easy. The exchange has info on dash disassembly. The soldering takes longer than the installation.
I put this in for my 16 year old son. I also installed an OEM alarm. Even he was impressed. The Sony has 23 watts per channel RMS (the peak is 50 watts or so). The unit has a color LCD screen, flip down face, etc. It was even better in real life than the description and photos. Keith
