what it boils down to is the Factory Honda Components are a waste of money. Even the SE's stereo blows which is what I have. What you have to ask yourself is how good do you want it to sound and how much do you want to spend. I changed to aftermarket speakers, Boston's on the front and Kenwoods in the back, but it still lacked. The Honda radio doens't put out enough power. I upgraded to a Kenwood CD player. My advice is upgrade to aftermarket and not to purchase the OEM upgrade speakers. Yes they will sound better than the stock one's, but you could get a better product for the same price by buying aftermarket.
