If I remember the numbers correctly (from previous conversations on the CR-Vix message boards), even the best of the aftermarket intakes allow about double the amount of particles through the filter, and only provide a very small amount of power improvement if any at all (other than the perceived power increase because of increased engine noise).
Although they do sound kewl. Dude.
Personally I'll save my money for something that really improves my mileage! 2 to 6 more tanks of fuel!
