hi peeps! do any of you know if Disney is going to make more Mulan stuff? They aren't making alot! and demand is high! Quick question, what kinds of Mulan stuff do you own and what are the good buys?

here's the mulan stuff I got so far

  • Mulan Dome - my favorite mulan item, beautifully detailed with lots of characters and plays reflections =)
  • The Art of Mulan - awesome book, great pics, and lots of very descriptive info on the making of mulan!
  • Disney's Mulan's Special Collector's Edition book - a smaller version of "The Art of Mulan" book
  • Mulan Special Edition Coloring books - I have two different ones, they do have some nice pictures =)
  • Mulan "Blossoms"Cling stickerbook - very cute cling stickers and beautifull background scenes
  • Mulan Beanies - I have a minature mushu, the one that doesn't talk =( and cute Little Brother, adorable!
  • McDonald Toys - they're cute, I got Shan-Yu, Shang, Little Brother and Mushu! Cri-Kee one makes a cute chirp!
  • Mulan Mattel Doll - beauty! mulan's sporting a chinese red silk style dress with tiny gold dragon emblems!
  • The Soundtrack - I have the CD and tape....gift =) I prefer the CD, so i can play "reflections" over and over....

Hmmm...i thought i had more but i was probably just dreaming =)

I've got most of what you have plus:
1. Mulan Tiny Collection Doll House which includes miniatures of Mulan, Shang, Granny and Kahn.
2. Mulan wristwatch - Has Mulan on face with a lavendar wristband and butterflies which move as the seconds hand.
3. Mulan tea set - Miniature tea pot with Mushu and Mulan on it, mini tea cups (one with Cri-kee hanging on).

All available at the Disney store.

Lotsa stuff

I think there were a lot of Mattel Dolls in stores now. Here's a list of what I have:

Hearts of Honor - Mulan and Shang (in the traditional Chinese wedding garments) giftset
Li Shang
Secret Hero Mulan
Matchmaker Magic Mulan
Real Riding Khan

and there's this really cute paper doll. with wedding paper outfits. I think I'll buy the snow domes, they're pretty cute. There's this collector's item Mulan doll, i think its around 6y inches and not very pretty. And a jewelry/music box, the kind when you open the lid and this little figure of Mulan twirls around to nice tune of "Reflection" We have this store near us which sells rare collector's items, i haven't checked it out yet, i'll get to it

Stuff...

Poor me, so deprived....where do you get the Art book and Special Collector's Edition, anyways? I went to the Disney store and they hardly had anything....just those ::shudder:: dolls. And the stuffed Mushu and the picture book and a Beanie Little Brother....now that was cute. What do I have? barely anything.
  • Mulan piano book - unfortunately, no scores. phoo.
  • All the McDonald's Mulan toys...yes, I'm that crazy...you can leave now if I'm scaring you.
  • my video tapes of Mulan clips - reflections on ice, making of Mulan, Jay Leno w/ Ming-Na, Siskel (:P) and Ebert, Mulan trailer (one w/ lotsa Shang), Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra
Now your probably asking yourself, have I ever seen you before? No. I was internet grounded until August. Otherwise, I'd have been here earlier. Now I'm trying to catch up, but I'm so way behind. But I am here now. Who am I? someone who is really obsessive.....it was my obsessive Les Miz streak which led to this Mulan obsessive streak. (Lea Salonga rocks!) My Mulan section of my webpage is in it's bare infancy....no pics *sniff*...but hopefully it'll get better. So, hello! *g* ~Suz

Books

I got the Art of Mulan and Special Collector's Edition from Amazon.com. Art was about $45.00 and Collector's Ed. was about $12.00. Don't know where you're from, but if you can get to Disneyland, I've seen the Art of Mulan there too. Happy hunting.

Hello to you, too!

Another new person! I go away for a few days, and look what happens.

Suz, you definitely pass the Mulan obsession test. However, I don't think any of us fellow obsessionists are going to be alarmed at the McD stuff. We've probably got them, too, but just won't admit it. Sorry to hear about your Internet grounding, but now that you're here, I'm sure you can catch up. Welcome!
