heres how to post videos from youtube & myspace, and photos on the board

when posting a video from youtube or myspace

1st get the embedded code that should look like this

<object width="425"height="344"><paramname="movie"value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RpECS8_UqDc&hl=en&fs=1">
</param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.
youtube.com/v/RpECS8_UqDc&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/
x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed>
</object>

to make it work all you have to do is remove anything before the "<param name="movie"
part (the removed part will look somewhat like this <object width="425" height="344">

after removing the stuff, your ready to post video code will now look like this

<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RpECS8_UqDc&hl=en&fs=1"></param>
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RpECS8_UqDc&hl=en&fs=1"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"
width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

and then it will play. make sure to click the preview before posting so you know it works. any direct
links to videos will be deleted.

posting pictures is simple. dont add any html code at all. simply post the exact address of the picture, and make sure it starts with http:// and your picture will work fine. make sure to click preview before posting so you know its working correctly.

note: when using pics from myspace (and possibly other places), dont use the code they give you. simply right click on the picture, select properties and get the actual address of the picture. this will ensure that you get the full size picture and not a thumbnail, or very small sized picture.
