When I do this:

mov bx,[bp+8]
mov bx,[bx]
mov bx,[bx+2]

It works, but when I do this:

mov bx,[bp+6]
mov ax,[bx]
mov ds,ax
mov bx,[bp+8]
mov bx,[bx]
mov bx,[bx+2]

It doesn't work, why?
