i just recently bought windows xp i currently have windows me, but when ever i try to install xp pro . it will just give me the folloing message
ONE O THE COMPONENTS THAT WINDOWS NEEDS TO CONTINUES SETUP COULD NOT BE INSTALLED:
MANIFEST PARSE ERROR : INVLID AT THE TOP LEVEL OF THE DOCUMENT.
ERROR: SXS.DLL:SYNTAX ERROR IN MANIFESTOR POLICY FILE " E:\11386\ASMS\6000\MSFT\WINDOWS\COMMON\CONTROLS\CONTROLS.MAN"ON LINE ZERO
and no matter what i do i cant figure it out please help me if you have heard of or can fix this problem
I WOULD REALLY LOVE THE HELP or it would have been a waiste of alot of money
