Why can't I get the chess board's description right?

Sooth, you know the alt="" deal where you put the name and address inside your banner link in order to get the name of the forum to display instead of the forum's number. Well I've done it on Quendi, and the name 'Quendi' displays correctly. I've done the same for Istari, and Istari's name displays correctly. When it comes to the Chess Board though, if you look on the little gray bar at the bottom of windows that gives the name of the site you're visiting, the Chess Board's still goes by the forum number. I've checked my code and can find no reason for this. Can you help?

I'm not sure I get it

What I put in a banner link is not going to influence the name of the page the banner is located in.

ok then

That's ok, I know I don't get it.

I've got another question though, my banner on Quendi, as well as all my graphics are not showing up. I don't understand this. I checked my geocities account, and everything is working fine. I checked all the addresses in net54, and they are correct as well. I've made no changes that would influence my graphics. Why are they missing?

You might want to take it up with GeoShitties

It appears they might have stopped allowing the practice of linking to images from places outside their domain (called "remote linking"). How typical.

But I could be wrong. If GeoShitties has a Q&A forum you might pop in and see what's being discussed.

Yeah.

They don't want us to use the server "only to store files". You can't link to anything that's not an HTML document, apparently. But I think the sound files slipped through somehow. I haven't tested it though.
