In Japan, it is commonly referred to as man-ko or in a slightly more polite way, man-pee with the pee portion referring to the whistle or bell sound that is sometimes used on television to cover up four letter words that people use, as in, 'That goddamn mother peeeeeeee!'
In the scientic realm, it is Chitsu or Shou, though I've been living in Japan for over 5 years and never heard these used by anyone.
