| Hi
I have now purchased your book and dvd set and also have looked on the internet demonstating the swing with a small section on the grip. I like what I see but in studying the materials I get stuck a bit on some of the nomenclature and would like to make sure I am doing things right. As the grip is the first thing that should be covered I looked with interest on the grip. I feel I understand that the left hand is a strong grip with the v pointing to the right shoulder and right hand is weak with the v is pointing just left of the head at least according to book and what I see Joe /sr. doing. Your right hand grip appears to be much weaker than that poining to the left shoulder as you show on both the dvd and your youtube demo. Am I correct on this observation and if so what is more correct?
Also in the youtube video on the grip you emphasize it is palm grip and show how you grip the club in the palm and rotate both arms to achieve the strong and weak positions. When I do this I find the club moving like it would with rotation is now sitting far more in the fingers than in palms. Could you show with a photo or explain where the club sets in the hand when it is at address just ready to swing. I find that what you started with showing a opened hand and looking is the best way to see but that is when they are in their final positions.
Other things not exactly clear to me are convex vs. concave wrists. My understanding relative to general golf terrms this would be what people might call a flat left wrist versus a bent wrist which would indicate the shaft moving clubhead throwaway. The book makes me think he is talking about setting the wrist up in a cocked postion.
Also relating to the sealin move is this setting the left hand wrist in line or lower than the arm which would be opposite to my previous paragraph?
thanks
dave
Thanks
Dave
