Below is an email I sent to a recent purchaser of the book and video.

This swing is like no other. It was born in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Scotland from golfers only known to historians or golfers who love the history of golf. Joe was a teenager when Alexander Findlay took him under his wing in Boston in 1904. Findlay knew Harry Vardon, they were good friends. Findlay mentored Joe Norwood and Francis Quimet together at Wright & Ditson Sporting Goods.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Scotland brought the swing to the United States. Joe Norwood learned the parts of the body that move so he could learn which parts of the body are not necessary. This swing sets the entire lower body at the address position so there is no need for a weight shift on the backswing as it is already in place.

This swing rotates the shoulders around the waist while the lower body is anchored. The wrists are locked or sealed in position at address and during the 1st foot of the back swing. After that it’s all arms and shoulders.

The reason golf is so difficult is due to the illusion that each person must have an individual unique golf swing. This notion is “garbage” for 90% of the public. The other 10% have physical issues which prevent them from attaining the holding and moving parts of Joe’s swing.

Watch the video, read the book, study it, inquire with me on the forum and learn about your body. Go to the far end of the driving range and watch how people swing. Look at their waist and hips. You’ll find that almost 100% of them rotate their hips on the downswing. This is a natural move because they swing down and forward instead of down and back. You’ll see their rotation. Only the professionals know this dance. There are too many moves. Who can learn the Waltz overnight without practice. This swing is like the two step because you do not need to Waltz to get on the dance floor you only need a simple two step routine. This swing is that two step routine.

Enjoy the book and video and stay in touch.
