Listen- You awfulizing beyond belief. Yo're really not in trouble, You sound like an intelligent, inexperienceds, new therapist or msw who trusted someone who proved untrustworthy. This kind of stuff happens by the way,
everywhere, in every job, everyday. As long as you have a Boss with someone looking over your shoulder and evaluating your work, you;ll have that little anxiety in the pit of your stomach regardless of wether or not you made a mistake....you'll walk in one day,,,thinking the whole way I hope I didn't gooof up...then theres the morning you see a colleague or the boss passing you in the hallway, you;ll say good morning-you'll get either the cold shoulder, not even eye contact, or a stern angry look,,,,and then you'll wast three hours of worrying...what did I do wrong? Of course you'll find out four hours later that the guy had a leak in his basement or a flat tire,,,,nothin to do with you at all, Listen,
in this case, you explained yourself, the boss heard you and accepted it...Hey they hired you because they thought
you were goog and your application had merrit. Chalk it up, learn from your mistakes, make sure everythings cool...and move on....there'll be a million more opportunitis down the road in both you personal and professional life to feel guilty. Easy for me to say,
but guilt, shame, anxiety, a bump in your confidence- ALL
A TREMENDOUS WASTE OF TIME...ITS LIKE A DOUBLE FAULT
AT SET POINT OR A DUFF OUT ON THE LINKS...wHAT WOULD tIGER DO? rEally, do u think Agassi, Roddick or McEnrowe
would let a double fault kill the match? no WAY...RELAX, PUT
ON SOME OLD MILES dAVIS-KINDA BLUE AND HAVE YOURSELD AN ICE COLD BEER OR A NICE GLASS OF WINE...FORGET THE TV
YOUR OK,
