Elysha, I just responded to your e-mail and found your site. It looks great! I decided to login under a different pen name...
I'm using forangel in remembrance of the first boy I lost to the streets during his probation (after his "rehab criminal justice incarceration"). I loved him deeply, and he was my inspiration to go back into therapy to finish my own work.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. I work as a school counselor in a juvenile prison. I do much of the typical "counselor paperwork" but also run anger management groups and do a lot of one on one.
my own history of trauma is of incest, rape by a priest, and sexual misconduct (isn't that a dry term?) by the first therapist I ever saw.
I have no idea which forum I'm in (still trying to figure out the site!) ... so I'm off to explore.
