FUCK Enterprise. The writers have completely FUCKED up the Star Trek franchise. Enterprise is going to totally FUCKING kill off the remaining interest in Star Trek. It's a FUCKING stupid idea, putting the series back in the FUCKING 22nd century, FUCK that. Why don't the writers ever listen to the fans? Are they that FUCKED up that they can't take any FUCKING suggestions. Hell, they're better off writing a FUCKING Wesley Crusher series than this FUCKING crap. Maybe they could write something about FUCKING, where people just FUCK all day. Maybe talk about alien body parts, like how they FUCK each other and all. FUCK!
You forgot to say Fuck Paramount and Fuck UPN! They could have put this series on CBS, which more people get than people get UPN, but no they had to put it on the fake network of UPN!
That's right! FUCK UPN! FUCK Paramount! They always have to FUCK everything up. As you can see I'm pretty FUCKING pissed off about the FUCKING concept for that FUCKING series they call Enterprise. It's not FUCKING Star Trek if it doesn't have the words "Star Trek" in the FUCKING title. The writers are FUCKING stupid for not putting that FUCKING SHIT in there. FUCK those MOTHERFUCKERS! FUCK, I am PISSED off!
Except, how long are you going to keep on with this piss poor arguement that because there's no 'Star Trek' in the title it's not Star Trek? (unless it's great that is.)
If they were to put it in now, why would that make it any more ST? And is Voyager ST cos it's got it in the title, and cos they preyed on trek continuity like rabinous dogs? (no is the answer - that was just a bad dream.)
So you don't like the concept. Personally I think that making it more relevant could make this even more 'Star Trek' - but no1s gonna know until we see it. (And hey, I'm as pissed off as you with Paramount, but got to go through all that with Voyager - Berman and co really buggered that up big time - but I can't bag him for this - I haven't seen it yet! And what I know is mainly positive.).
Despite Captain Damn's very succinct and articulate writing, he still makes a valid point. What was Paramount thinking by setting the new show in the 22nd Century? Beats the Fuck outta me! They should have set the new show in perhaps the 26th or even the 27th Centuries. They could have done a scene where an officer was showing the N.C.C. 1701-L to a VERY old (but still young looking)Admiral Data, much in the same way that he gave Admiral McCoy a tour of his Enterprise in the Next Gen Pilot. Just a thought. But once again the fans who have kept Trek alive since 1966 get ignored! Who knows, maybe "Enterprise" will be the best thing since sliced Dilithium...we can only hope.
You forgot Rick Fucking "Hey, look, I can kill Star Trek" Fucking Berman. Cocksucker. Since Roddenberry's death, Berman has systematically made bad choices and selective rewrties to Star Trek to make it his baby.
This is like that fucking chick that wrote the sequel to "Gome With The Wind." Fuck you, it isn't your baby.
I mean, Lucas has done a pretty good job fucking up his own shit, but what if Jerry Fucking Bruckheimer took over Star Wars? Holy shits, says I.
From DS9 to Voyager, ST First Contact, to Enterprise, Berman has systematically dismantled all the work Gene put into this wonderful, thoughtful series.
Now, it's like a bunch of fucking 14 year olds have taken the keys to their daddy's car while he's out of town.
Fucking gimps. I hope Rick Berman burns in fucking hell forever. And I hope Brannon Braga's head is up Berman's ass the whole time.
