Hi Dee, you hit the nail on the head, SO true and it IS VERY rude.
Thank you goes a long way. On the boards awhile ago, there is one person (who will remain nameless), she "appears" now and then in a frenzy and I wrote several nice replies to her and she never said a word. At first, I did wonder, did she see it or not? However, since I was the only one who replied to her, I am going to go with she DID she it but she just didn't feel the need to say "thanks"..or maybe she didn't like what I had to say (though it was supportive and nice so I dont know why she wouldn't)
Personally, even if I don't have advice to give the poster, I try to just write "thinking of you" but even that sometimes goes unappreciated.
And I applaud the poster below because "I'm sorry" and "congratulations" go a LONG way. I guess some people just have no manners.
I try and focus on the people who are polite all around on the boards, the rest (drive-bys, ungratefuls, etc) Im not wasting my energy on anymore.
Take care, Dee ,
