Yup. Prune juice works well. And Miralax and colace work too (and Margie D's cookies - they freeze well)- if taken really consistently. It just gets bad if nothing moves for a few days. And knowing about the suppository plan may be a good thing too because at some hospitals, if you have a c-section, they won't let you leave until everything is movin' again. And if it isn't . . . that is when they bring in the sup. in a little cup and send you to the loo. That's what happened with my first. I was like "WHAT! I have to do this before I can go HOME?!" Uh huh. I think I read that this happened to someone else on this board. Better to be forewarned! I agree on the prunes though. They sell them in little individually wrapped packages. The juice sounds better though!
