Am I the only one slightly annoyed byOctober 31 2011 at 5:38 PM

the announcement of BFP's from or about random people on the New High Board? I would love to hear about BFP's from board regulars who I know something about and have an interest in their success. While I think the intentions are good to keep hopes up with other stories, I think it would be more appropriate if these were posted on the PG board. Sorry if I sound selfish, but that's just how I'm feeling.
I have to say I agree with this...

and we haven't had a BFP on that board in a while....
I try to skip those posts, for some reason they frustrate me, too.
I'm with you AJ.

some of those posts get a lot of responses...so i think others might think it is okay, and that regulars on that board might not have a problem with it. if you have a problem with it, just say so! i dont think it's bad and people would understand.
AJ - what a coincidence that this just happened with another AJ!

I don't know that AJ that just posted about the 5 months PG.
I know! You know what bothers me

is that these posters just come by to do a "drive-by" to share their success. Then people give their best wishes and some ask questions and the OP never comes back to acknowledge or answer. Also, a lot of the times they don't really go into details about their diagnosis so it's hard to really feel encouraged by their success if you can't compare yourself against them.
However, I'm not bothered if someone- I think Bethpky is an example- has shared info in the past about a family member or friend that has struggled and then found success. At least by knowing some history makes you a little invested in their success.
hey AJ, I am sorry that you feel sad

the way I rationalize it is, before my BFP, I loved BFPs because it gives hope that some day, mine will come and you want everyone to be happy for you. Since DD#1, I have gone on to have multiple BFPS but all ended in M/c and chemicals 3 years, later and 13 IVFs later. Still trying but more on the down low.
Yes, it can be annoying but I do pray and hope you get yours very soon.
Its not that I'm sad

Or depressed about it even. Just a little annoyed is all:) At least the AJ that posted yesterday did come back to answer a question which is nice. I just find it strange when posters never post here, then come and share success never to be heard from again. It would just be nice to know more about the person who we're congratulating and supposed to draw inspiration from. I'm probably just being quirky about it:) Thanks for your kind words. May we all find success soon!!

I truly hope that success comes really quickly. I really need it.
