Well I have a 6 inch Voyager (dobsonian style) Scope. With a 12mm lens and a Barlow Jupiter looks about 1/4 inch around, and is not in color. You can see the bands, and the spot, but not real clear and they are fuzzy.

Now my 6" scope is concidered small so it only gets better from there. I understand that an 8 or 10 inch will even allow some color, but I am not sure. I plan to buy a 10" as soon as I get the money saved up.

With my 6" I can clearly see the rings around Saturn, but would like to see it much larger... Gotta get that bigger scope.
