In response to question #1: He has accepted the fact that where stargazing is concerned, I am certifiable. On the morning in question, he just asked what I was doing. I told him to just look out the window...my siren call. As far as the cold feet are concerned, I didn't make it back to bed. I stayed out till the sun began to show her face and came in to get ready for work--a siren call of another nature, know what I mean?

Now...question #2: I am blessed to live in a rural area of the country. I am 8 miles from city lights of any kind. No street lights, no skyscrapers, no malls, no flashing signs of any kind--farm country. That morning, I could see the Milky Way...My obstacles here consist of planted pines that hinder viewing in my southern and eastern skies. I have incredible views to the north and to the west of me.

You and I are worlds apart, Chris. How are your skies in Sydney?
