I have a friend who just recently got the bug for astronomy and against my advice he bought a 70mm goto scope because the price was so attractive. He has only had the scope a couple of weeks and I had to loan him some decent eps because he couldn't focus with the junk they included with it. He is already thinking about getting a bigger (better scope) scope because the images he is getting with the trash scope don't even come close the the quality of the views he got when I loaned him my st90. It came with a 20mm, 4mm ma eps and a 3x barlow. I let him use a 25mm, 10mm plossels along with a 2x shorty barlow I picked up from Orion when I bought my 120mm because they were only $20. He is amazed at the difference but disapointed with the lack of light gathering the little refractor is capable of. At least with the better eps and barlow he can use the scope. I guess the goto works pretty good though. He is concidering a dob or the 120 Astroview. At least he hasn't been discouraged to the point of leaving the addiction. Good Luck
