fine, american muscle cars have lower retail values... usually this shows that a car is cheap, both inexpensive and junk. First of all, I want to make sure it is understood that i have nothing against or for either american or import cars. As long as it has four wheels, an engine and maybe a nice sound system, i dont care if it says Honda or Chevrolet, or even FIAT... second, higher displacement engines have higher hp at lower rpms. Thats comes as a result of being A HIGH DISPLACEMENT engine. Its a physical concept. The fact that Honda is able to produce smaller, very high reviing engines (they have to be high revving to achieve any sort of hp and torque because they have lower displacements..) which are extremly durable (the sheer number of hondas with at least 100k miles on the engine still running perfectly fine, or even raced proves my point). Think about the stress on an engine running at revs ranging around 4000-6000rpms, it takes a lot of reasearch and development to produce such efficeint and relatively powerful engines. I think, and this is only my opinion, people should stop this pointless domestic vs. import feud- drive what you like, and like what you drive, whos with me???
