Gap @ bezel & case

I noticed a paper thin gap between the bezel and case at approx. 10 o'clock mark on my PAM. Is this normal? I have heard that it is a service gap to make it easier in removing the bezel.

What you've heard is right..

I knew that on Luminor, but just noticed the same gap in my Cali/nt
