but sadly not the pics J-F was hoping via his email to me...
Sorry Bro.
I was fortunate enough to have handled this rare bird personally in steel when I met up with my good friend. I took a few mediocre shots via my mobile camera. Pics of the watch itself, without the complete set though I've seen the set, I didnt thought of taking pics of it.
The piece that my friend got wasnt a complete set as it lacks quite a number of items for its series...
-Wasnt sure if its a B series box.
-The Warranty card was stamped with a distributor in Japan not with Officine Panerai Marketing & comunicazione.
-There was no C.O.S.C cert.
-Libretto di garanzia and libretto.
-Screwrider.
-Definitely not with the A series calf strap (but was packaged with the tunnel strap found in Pam 233).
-No Black velcro strap
-Definitely not with the Two screws buckle but an ordinary single screw buckle.
-Without poster with the signature of the celebrity as his is the one with a naked caseback.
My observations, the crystal is without any AR coating and the lume numbers are a bit like the fat numbers/slightly raised found on earlier series. As you can see from the first pic below, the lume wasnt perfectly filled up with a slight off from the numbers border.
Would love to be of more help but unfortunately my friend sold off this piece. He got it at a very attractive price considering the missing items. Sold it for a small profit and now its with one dealer, who is asking for an exorbitant price.
Thanks J-F Bro for pointing me to this thread hope I've contributed some.
Cheers.
